Red Fox Resources® is pleased to announce that Mike Apple has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development and Operations – East. In his new role, Mike will manage the Red Fox business activities in the Eastern part of the United States, establishing and maintaining commercial relationships and managing key accounts in his region. He will also serve as a member of the executive management team as the company continues to grow and expand its capabilities.
Mike brings significant experience and expertise in the heavy-duty truck, bus, and engine industry having spent over 20 years in the Cummins organization, including leadership positions at Cummins Inc. and at two Cummins distributorships in the Midwest and Southeast. During his career, he has worked in a variety of roles including sales, sales management, quality, and operations.
Previously he served as Vice President – Engine Business, Central Region for Cummins Inc., where he led the team responsible for indirect on-highway engine sales, aftermarket parts, service, and replacement engine sales. In this role, Mike also managed customer support for a twelve-state region in the Midwest.
Most recently Mike worked for NFI Group Inc (brands including MCI, New Flyer and others) in Chicago, leading business and service operations for the pre-owned coach business in North America. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Louisville. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
