Red Fox Partners with Hino Trucks

on September 1, 2016

Oakland, CA, September 1, 2016 – This program allows dealers of Hino Trucks to recycle spent emission cores, such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs), that either fail OEM core acceptance criteria or do not carry a core value. Red Fox Resources purchases the spent emission control systems from the dealer and reclaims the catalyst material for re-use.

“Red Fox is pleased to partner with Hino Trucks and their extensive dealer network to recycle DPFs and DOCs. Recycling parts that would otherwise be scrapped or thrown away offers a simple pathway to both revenue and sustainable business practices.” – Brad Edgar, CEO Red Fox Resources.

Hino TrucksWith over 225 dealer locations around the country, the volume of recycled catalyst cores from the Hino Trucks dealer body represents a significant volume of catalyst material to be reclaimed and returned to the production stream. The parts are dismantled into their core components and recycled in a sustainable manner such that value is maximized and little or no material is sent to a landfill.

“The partnership with Red Fox makes great sense for our dealers as it offers a simple process to recycle used catalyst parts in an environmentally sustainable manner while also generating additional revenues for our Hino Trucks dealers.” – Hino Trucks.

Headquartered in Oakland, California, Red Fox Resources recycles used diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) from trucks, buses, heavy equipment and other heavy-duty diesel and natural gas engines. Red Fox purchases spent parts from fleets, service centers, and dismantlers throughout North America.
