Red Fox Expands to New Facility in Oakland, CA

on September 18, 2017

Oakland, CA, September 18, 2017 – Red Fox Resources®, a leader in industrial emission control system recycling has completed a move of its primary facility to a new location in Oakland, CA. The new facility will serve as Red Fox Resource’s corporate headquarters as well as the company’s Operations and Technology Center. The new facility more than triples the square footage of the company’s old facility, also located in Oakland. The new facility is located at 4055 Linden Street in Oakland, California.

Red Fox Resources recycles used diesel particulate filters (DPFs), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) and natural gas catalysts from trucks, buses, construction equipment and stationary generators. Red Fox purchases spent emission control parts from fleets, service centers, manufacturers and dismantlers throughout North America.

“Our move to the new facility and overall expansion of space is indicative of the growth Red Fox has experienced over the past 18 months” said Brad Edgar, President and CEO of Red Fox Resources. “Not only will the new facility improve our recycling capabilities, it will expand our technology center where we are developing new technologies focused on extending the life cycle and performance of emission control technology.”

The move will keep the company in Oakland, California where it was founded in 2013.  “We are thrilled to find a larger facility here in Oakland that meets the needs of our growing business. We are proud to be an Oakland based company and it is important for us and our employees to remain in the area. We look forward to being an active member of the community and an employer of Oakland residents for years to come, ” said Edgar.

Red Fox Resources customers will not see any changes to the daily operations of the business.  Since Red Fox manages the logistics and pays for the freight on inbound parts. “Recycling spent DPFs and DOCs with Red Fox is still as simple as it has ever been, if you have parts ready for recycling, just let us know and we’ll handle the rest. The only change our customers will see will be a new address on the check we send.” said Tripp Heller VP of Sales & Marketing for Red Fox.
